Russia: The Ever Changing Country
Russia in my opinion, is much like a teenager trying to find their identity. Through out all the years we learned about Russia (1400-present)they have changed their political views more then once. In the 15th century, Ivan III tripled the size of the Grand Duchy of Moscow. During his rule he made everyone know that he had absolute rule over everyone and everything. He forced the nobles and the people of Russia to recognize he had absolute power and do so with all his descendants. Ivan III had a son who he named Ivan. This Ivan was known as Ivan the Terrible. Ivan named himself Tsar and would kill or exile anyone for a small violation. His son took over after Ivan's death and did not make any heir to the throne. So when he died this created the period called the "Time of Troubles". Here they had years of no recognizable ruler until they established a Romanov to rule. The Romanov's ruled from early 1600's to their downfall in 1917. During the 300 years or so of Romanov rule, Russia was able to modernize their country with Peter the Great. The downfall came in 1917 because Russia believe Rasputin, their son's faith healer, was having too much say in the ruling of Russia. The youngest son had a disease where he would bleed uncontrollably, this was referred to as Hemophilia. After the assassination, Communism took over until 1991. And that was the story of confused Russia.

World War I's effect on Russia
World War I had a dramatic effect on Russia. Because Russia suffered heavy casualties and were not doing well in the war, mass dissatisfaction and anger towards the Tsar and Russian Government spread. Tsar Nicholas II spent his time leading his army and leaving Alexandra in control, but many thought she was being controlled by Rasputin which further enraged the public. In 1917 Nicholas abdicated his throne and the provisional government was put in place. The failure of the war started the Russian Revolution. The Russian Revolution put the Bolsheviks in power an was the birth of socialism.

Russia On WWII
As the course of this inevitable war carries on, more and more innocent people are dying everyday from the wrath of Hitler, yet Russia still grows and grows with power. We are slowly establishing ourselves a world wide power within Europe. Our reputation has slowly begun to grow along with our authority, government, army, and trading policies. Hitler has proved reckless and irresponsible when it comes to provoking our country and attempting with us. Upon his poor attack on his, his men still in their summer uniforms, Russia fought back by simply running. Burning everything in sight that suggested a German advantage or lineage, we burned. It was a good thing to. Hitler is a very dangerous and manipulative man. Anything he touches can imperatively become dangerous to another country. Russia is simply learning to fight back and try to stay out of his reign of terror. As Hitler gains power so do we.
peasants view on WWII
Being from mother Russia has its advantages. Hitler tried invading Russia but we did what we do best and ran. We practiced what the Americans call “Scorched earth policy”. This means as we run, we burn everything that those Germen people can use. They have never experienced a real winter and they’re about to in their summer uniforms! Haven’t they learned? Napoleon did the same; he left Russia with most of his army dead! It definitely sucks burning down livestock and our homes but you got to do what you got to do.

Peasants view of the scientific revolution
As a peasant, I believe that the Scientific Revolution has been very beneficial to Russia. With all the new, more complicated technology has allowed the creation of many new objects can be manufactured at a mass quantity. The mass quantity has allowed certain objects to be sold for a cheaper price. The more affordable things will be, the better this country will become and our country will grow. The country's economy will progress and our thoughts will become more advanced.

Peasants & The Scientific Reovlution
The Scientific Revolution has done wonders for our country and for our way of intellectual thinking. With the advent of technology so many new things can be manufactured, produced, and sold for our benefit. Along with these new ideals regarding science and technology, industry has grown and the machinery that has come along with it has been of great help to our country. Intellectual thought has transformed our way of thinking, science has transformed our way of reason and knowledge, and industry has transformed our way of mass producing various items. As members of the lower class, this is absolutely imperative in order for us to start growing as a union and expanding our way of life. These processes could be conducive to starting our own economy and enlightening ourselves.

How the French Revolution influenced Russia
In my country, Russia, a man chosen by god rules us. This man comes from a family called the Romanov's. We, the people have been happy under their rule for sometime now. Altercations in France lead to a Revolution. The French Revolution allowed evil men and woman who challenged the monarch to take over. Since there was no monarch anymore this lead to a man who wanted everything. His name was Napoleon. Napoleon soon would try and invade mother Russia but we prevailed and won. So when you ask me “How I think of the Revolution?” I would respond with a scream of “Blasphemy”.
